We are seeking an Assistant Director of People Operations to be the guru of people, processes, and programs, driving a high-performance culture that aligns with our mission and brand values. Must have previous Hotel experience with Local 6 Union team members!
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee human resources operations, policies, and procedures
Develop and implement programs that enhance team member engagement, growth, and performance
Support workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies
Collaborate with leadership to set ambitious standards and goals for team members
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, union agreements, and hotel policies
Champion a culture of continuous development, inclusion, and engagement across the hotel
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources or people operations, ideally in hospitality or lifestyle hotels
Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
Expert knowledge of HR operations, workforce planning, and training programs
Proven leadership and team development experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
