Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a dynamic organization offering a hybrid work schedule—just two days a week onsite in downtown Chicago! This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a collaborative team, sharpen their AP skills, and contribute to a company that values accuracy, efficiency, and innovation.

You’ll work closely with the Operations and Finance teams to ensure smooth, on-time processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications. This role is ideal for someone who’s eager to take ownership of systems and bring structure to a fast-moving environment.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process corporate and client expenses through AP systems
• Receive, track, and manage all vendor invoices
• Verify appropriate approvals and GL coding accuracy
• Coordinate payments with the Finance team
• Handle vendor communication and resolve inquiries
• Maintain invoice records in Laserfiche
• Review and manage check requests for completeness
• Support 1099 issuance with the Operations team
• Document and improve AP policies and procedures
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects as needed

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 2–4 years of AP experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills and sharp analytical mindset
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a hands-on approach
• Strong communicator with a collaborative spirit
• Eager to improve processes and enhance accuracy
