They are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor on 2nd or 3rd Shift.
Main duties of the Maintenance Supervisor include:

• Leading and supervising at least 15 union (UAW) maintenance personnel
• Direct all maintenance repair projects
• Ensuring that production equipment is maintained and running smoothly
• Preventative maintenance on high-speed PLC-driven production equipment
• Read technical blueprints and interpret ways to fix equipment
• Ensure the team members are adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations
• Hiring/firing, scheduling time-off/vaca, and disciplinary actions

Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisors include:

• Maintenance leadership experience from a high-speed, high-volume production facility
• Willingness to work long hours and occasional weekends
• Union experience ideal but not required.
• Automotive manufacturing exp. strongly desired
• Strong personality to be able to lead a team of seasoned maintenance technicians
