Job DescriptionOur retail, skincare client is seeking a Design Project Manager to work with their team! This role will be an average of 35 hours per week, hybrid onsite 3 days per week in Manhattan. All necessary hardware and software will be provided!The ideal Design Project Manager will be crucial in managing the transition from design through design adaptation and implementation for all projects within the brand portfolio. You will partner with cross functional teams to organize/monitor timelines, route artwork bundles and transition to ensure waves and in market dates, are met for global divisions, as well as manage budgets and bill back to divisions for adaptive work.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Brand Design Manager(s) to drive packaging excellence with internal and external partners.- Manage project timelines and design budget effectively.- Ensure seamless project transition from the design development through design finalization.- Effectively communicate creative strategy to influence design solutions.- Champion the brand's design-integrated philosophy and brand equity standards.Requirements:- 5+ years professional experience in CPG / FMCG design, brand or related creative industry. - Beauty branding a plus. - Hands-on design and project management skills; deep familiarity with print and production.- Deep knowledge of Project Management connected tools .- Working knowledge of necessary software applications, including Adobe Creative Cloud.-Strong project management skills, demonstrated experience in PM tools.- Command of CPG design through artwork delivery workflows.- Highly attuned to adaptive design requirements, wave prioritization.- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.- Capable of driving initiatives independently and taking ownership of challenges.- Possess a confident and assertive approach to project leadership and problem-solving.-Deep understanding of the principles of great design systems (i.e., color theory; typography, shape language, content design, tiering, etc.)- Able to effectively and calmly juggle multiple assignments at one time.- Manage ambiguity by adapting with agility to new demands and challenges.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
