SAIC is seeking experienced and security-cleared engineering personnel to support Operational Evaluation in the Air Force's Air Operations Center (AOC) Falconer Weapon System team at Langley AFB, Virginia. This position requires technical engineering and systems/network administration experience, with a demonstrated understanding and application of systems engineering and operational testing; AOC mission planning/scheduling processes, tools and applications; and configuration management principles and process to sustain and evolve the AOC baseline. The successful candidate will be effective at face-to-face interaction with Air Force customers and other contractors to respond to requests for information, support to technical meetings, technical interchanges and enterprise working groups. The candidate must be able to work independently and represent the program and SAIC at meetings and working groups with government and associate contractors.

Additionally, the ideal candidate would:

• This position requires AOC WS experience, technical engineering experience, and a demonstrated understanding of ATO Planning Cycle and related applications, testing management principals and process, mission planning/scheduling, and experience in sustainment/development/and operational test concepts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the AOC or Unit Level Planning process.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks while balancing multiple assignments.
• Highly motivated with the capabilities for independent thought, problem solving and dedication to task completion.
• Ability to work on a high-performance team pursuing strict schedule requirements.
• Have a clear understanding of installation, testing and evaluation of software and hardware upgrades/modification to support documentation revision and problem resolution, and experience in Agile development processes.
• Be familiar with designing, developing, and implementation of test plans, test scenarios/cases, test processes, in a command & control environment.
• Have familiarity/experience with any of the following applications/tools:
  • TBMCS
  • MAAPTK.
  • C2Core.
  • VMware Virtualization Environments.
  • Linux.
  • JIRA, Confluence or other Agile Lifecyle Management (ALS) tools.
  • Citrix XenApp.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering field, and nine (9) years or more experience, or Masters Degree and five (5) years or more experience. Job experience and relevant industry certifications may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• Current IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec+ or higher).
• Current DoD Secret clearance, with eligibility to attain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
