The Engineering Summer Intern will support ongoing projects and contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions within Raytheon. This role provides hands-on experience in real-world engineering applications, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge, gain professional skills, and collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams. **What You Will Do** + Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of engineering components, systems, or processes. + Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and drawings. + Collect and analyze data to support process improvements or project development. + Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and brainstorming sessions. + Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues under supervision. + Contribute to maintaining project timelines and ensuring quality standards are met. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, or related field). + This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior standing level by the start of Summer 2026. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA). + Experience with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or R). + Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in an engineering environment. + Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
